Michaela's Green Thumb

My daughter Michaela, or "KK" as I like to call her, loves gardening thanks to her Grandma. She's growing a sunflower right now and this is her progress so far. I'm so proud of my little green thumb!

We transferred it from the little plastic pot to her Grandma's yard so it can grow and be watered properly while she's over there. I'll be sure to share more pictures of how it's growing!

Counting Down to 35...

My wish list for my birthday. Just some tokens, nothing big. Just in case you were wondering what to get me for my THIRTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY. Yes, I'm putting that on blast. Yipes! I'm turning 35!

So... on May 25th, I will be 35. What an adventure it's been so far. I have the best support system anyone can ever ask for. My loving family and devoted friends – You are my world. I wouldn't be the person I am today, if I didn't have you in my life. You keep me reaching for the stars and working hard so I can have the things I have. I am creative because I am inspired by all of you.

I was in Anthropologie about a month ago and snapped these photos with my phone.

Speakeasy II

Another awesome show put on by the gals of the Handmade Brigade! The Speakeasy II was at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa and I was among some talented people! I met a lot of cool people and I also connected with a gal who asked me to sell at another craft show.

I was trying out a new set up with the peg boards and twinkle lights. I wanted to showcase my cards more! I'm thinking about painting some frames on it. What do you think?

It was definitely a fun night. They gave out these cool canvas shopping bags with cool freebies in them. A shopper was kind enough to let me snap a picture of her. I also got a picture of the first purchase of the night.

Everyone was super cool and best of all it was in a bar! I think the guy next to me was a little buzzed off the beers he was drinking :)
