Puppy Party!

This weekend we celebrated my daughter Michaela's 4th Birthday. Yea, I can't believe she's 4 either! Michaela is totally in love with puppy dogs and I thought it would be cute to incorporate that into her birthday party.

I had a lot of inspiration from the blog world and I'm totally grateful for that! I can definitely execute the ideas, but sometimes I need a little help now and then.

Thanks to all of our friends and family who made it despite the rain. I wanted to share with you the fruits of our labor and show you why Michaela calls me the best mom ever :).  Love you KK!!!

Holiday Decorations

Last year I started to make a wreath like the ones they display at Starbucks. I got halfway, ran out of yarn and styrofoam balls and I am determined to hang it up this Christmas. What projects are you working on to pretty up your place for the holidays?

Gifted Magazine

Gifted Magazine!!!
The holidays are just around the corner and I want to be prepared! The gals over at Creature Comforts published this new online magazine called Gifted, dedicated to the best thing in the world... PRESENTS!!!

Who doesn't like getting a gift? The thing I love the most, is giving the gift and watching you while you open it. I get super duper excited and wait for your reaction. Whether it be bad or good. But I get good reactions most of the time :).

So check out Gifted. You won't be disappointed. If you need to find me a gift, you won't have any trouble because I pretty much want everything in there! There are a lot of goodies like free gift tags and wrapping paper you can download and print to add a little handmade goodness to your presents.

Blue Rings

Sky Ring by wireddesign

I LOVE LOVE LOVE blue stone rings. I think I fell in love with them when Chandler was picking out Monica's engagement ring and the one he chose wound up getting purchased by someone else and it was an adventure trying to get it back because that was "thee ring." (I'm referring to "Friends" of course.)

Sterling Silver & Aquamarine Ring from LINKjewelryinc's shop

Here are a few of my favorite blue rings on etsy. Hope you enjoy the collection!

Mommy Mondays :: Birth Announcements

All designs are custom, email me for a quote!
When my brother's friend Margie approached me about designing her baby boy Kobe's birth announcments, I couldn't resist. I initially designed it with blues and greens and when Margie emailed me that they wanted to change the color scheme to purple & gold, it all made sense. Gar and Margie happen to be the biggest Laker fans I know (besides my mom of course).

So if you're interested in birth announcements, leave a comment with your email address or contact information and I'll be sure to get you a quote! All my designs are custom, so if you have something else in mind, I am more than happy to work with you on that :)

Catching Up :: Abbott Kinney Festival 2010

This year I got to go to the Abbott Kinney Festival and it was super fun. I love experiencing LA culture with all my favorite things in one place: handmade vendors, music & FOOD! Here are a few pictures from that day, which happened to be the hottest day of the year!

This is my bike.

I had the truffle fries & a couple tacos. I still like the koji truck.
Too much hops for me, but I still finished it.

Awesome record art.

This guy caught me taking a picture of him. He wanted me to buy a CD.

Oh... there's the bike valet! I was a little distracted ;)

Free is always good.

Yay for Lulu Dee!

Stylin people

Art in action.

I'd start roller skating again if I had these.

hee-hee a farting elephant

Yay for Urbanic! Always have to drop in and see all the prettiness.

Holga spotting!

Dam-Funk

Reminded me of Bubba.

My new bicycle basket!
