Let's Play Catch Up!

I hope this doesn't become a habit for me when I don't post for days. It's been a stressful past few weeks and hopefully I'll come back to the land of inspiration. So... I'll start off with what I did last weekend! A wee bit late, but here I go!

Last Saturday, July 11th, I got to hang out with one of my dear friends Alcie. I miss this gal soooo much! We went to college together and at one point in time she was my hairstylist. Now I do some freelance work for her from time to time and she is really dazzling me with her photography skills these days. (She shoots with film people!) She lent me her little point and shoot for the day because I forgot mine at home.

We started out in Long Beach, where she took me have lunch before our loooong day. We had lunch at Barry's Beach Shack. Sorry no pics of the food, but WOW. I was not disappointed. I had the tuna melt which was appropriately named TBTMITW (The Best Tuna Melt In the World). I'll double check on that name because I'm working off memory here!

Then we headed out to LA for the Renegade Craft Fair! First time in Los Angeles and I was excited to be there! I'll share my purchases in another post. Let's break it up a little... just so you won't get bored... I was happy to see some familiar faces and I think that's why it took us a while to get through the whole thing. It's the social butterfly in me. And it was great seeing the new vendors and boy, there are some talented people out there! I was super inspired.

First stop :: Super Buzzy. This one's for Ivy because I know she loves all the japanese fabrics and kawaii stuff.

This is Jean from Randl/Chikabird. OMG. That's all. Oh! She's super sweet and I can't wait to show you what I bought from her. She's my inspiration.

Can't forget Danni with oh, hello friend! She's absolutely the sweetest person I know and I'm so into her jewelry! There's Alcie making a purchase :).

This postcard machine was a crackup. The kids were getting a kick out of!

I loved the set-up that Paper Pastries had. Super cute with the whole bakery theme and pastel colors.

This made me chuckle!
