Okay. Okay. I'm on a movie kick right now. There's so many to look forward to. Like this one -----> 500 Days of Summer. Stars Zooey Deschanel (She & Him!) and Joseph Gordan-Levitt (3rd Rock). This film just screams "Myra watch me!" It's about a guy and girl, they have a relationship. They break up. And the guy spends all this time figuring out what went wrong. Check out the trailer. I love the Smiths too.
I can't wait to see this movie! It stars John Krasinski (The Office) and Maya Rudolph (SNL), it's about an expectant couple that travels the U.S. in search of a place to put down roots and raise a family. I especially love the title sequences with the handwritten type. See for yourself.
Ivy and I had so much going on in our booth, we even managed to have a raffle! I used random.org to choose our winner. Belinda is the winner of an Orla Kiely mug filled with all sorts of goodies including a gift certificate good for one item from delightful trinkets and one item at double-sided tape. I will be contacting Belinda via email. Congrats!
I'm all about the ultimate happy song. When Love Song by Sara Bareilles plays on the radio or my CD player, I quickly get a smile on my face and my frown is turned upside down. If you ever watched Ally McBeal, then you can relate. In this one episode, she's super stressed out about some case (when is she never stressed out?) and her therapist tells her to get a "theme song."
La Belle êtoile by Andrea Lindsay is my ultimate happy song album. Listening to each of her songs just puts me into that extra special mood and my frown is definitely turned upside down. All her songs are in French, so despite what she's saying, her melodies are super cute and sure to put a hop in your step.
Saturday marks the day of my very first craft fair. I had the pleasure of sharing a space with Ivy from Delightful Trinkets and I have to say that our booth was AWESOME! It took us a while to get everything set up, but now that we have this show on our belts, I think we're ready to take this on the road! Thanks to all our friends and family and that came out to support us for those who couldn't make it, there's always the etsy shop and future shows.
I met a lot of wonderful people and I can't wait to share their shops with all of you. Stay tuned!
With the upcoming Handmade District Craft Fair coming up I've been working on getting my Etsy shop up and running. There's not much and I have still yet to list my wedding invitations, but here's a sample (the only inventory!). It's a lot of work, but I love doing this!
